Robert Calvin Huckabee

Robert Calvin Huckabee, 93, of Highland Village, passed away on Jan. 28, 2024. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Robert is survived by his wife Nancy Searcey Huckabee; sisterGloriaAnnHuckabee Cassily (Bob); daughter Donna Huckabee Baumgarner (Lester); sons Tracy Huckabee (Dana), David Huckabee (Pam); grandchildren StephanieBaumgarner Phillips, Christin Baumgarner Tatum, Brian Baumgarner, Amy Huckabee Divers, Kyle Huckabee, Kaitlyn Huckabee, Julianna Huckabee; great-grandchildren andmanyotherfamilymembers and life-long friends.

Hewasprecededindeath by his son Robert Michael Huckabee (Bobby); parents Laris Lee Huckabee and Pearl Lillian Phillips; brothers GeneHuckabeeandBasil Lee Huckabee.

Robert attended Weinert HighSchoolandlaterserved in the US Army 97th Signal Battalion Association. After his military service, he went on to become the owner of SouthwestCommunications in 1984 where he worked until his retirement in 2009. Robert was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lewisville and enjoyed traveling andworkingwithanyandall electronics in his free time.

He always used to say “Come back and see me!” and we’re pretty sure he’s up there in heaven, cruising around on his favorite John Deere tractor.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Flower Mound Family Funeral Home in Flower Mound. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation in his honor to your favorite charity.
